| Surprisingly I didn't find any E. River threads, so I started one up. I fish the chain minimally, in fact, only a few times, but intend on making more of a point of it this year and so on.
I guess I'm just curious if anyone's found any productive color patterns, considering the slight tannic stain.
Any ideas?
We did well with natural perch and black bird colors. |

| We have done well with flourescent colors. Oranges yellows Firetiger just a few and natural colors of course just depends on weather and what the fish want.1 |

| Orange has always been a hot color in tannic stained water, copper and gold being variences of that. When throwing a blackbird colored bucktail, that being the black bucktail w/a few strands of orange in the middle of the skirt, and the blade being half orange/half yellow, with maybe a tinge of red and either copper or gold on the inside of the blade.
Thanks for the replies so far. It's always interesting to fish somewhere and notice that everyone throwing for ski's is pitching the same color. |

| Not in any specific order but here's what gets it done for me most of the time on the ERC: black/orange or black/nickel or brown/yellow/gold tails. For hard baits firetiger, natural perch, Miller perch, chartreuse, and crappie. |
