I am going to Red Woman lodge this spring and their boats don't have trolling motors. Has anyone figured a way to temporarily mount a bow mount to a rental. The resort uses 16' Lunds the basic three bench ones. I am excited to fish all day without a floor.

Mount the motor to a 2 x 10 and then c-CLAMP THE BOARD TO THE BOAT. Take a couple extra C-clamps and a couple extra pieces of board and a few wood screws in case you have to improvise a little.

For Jon boats in these parts, they take a tiller troller and c-clamp it to the side of the boat with a wood block between the clamp and the frame. m
