Just curious if you guys use/catch more fish on rattling crankbaits or non-rattling crankbaits. I know both have their time and place but which type of crank holds more space in your tacklebox?

I'd say it's about 50/50 in my box so I can't vote for either option. I've got the same amount of rattling Jakes as I have non-rattling Grandmas, the same amount of Shallow Invaders as SS Shads (OK, so actually a few more Invaders but who's counting ;)), the same amount of Super Stalkers as Super Shad Raps... you get the picture. I think retrieve style, profile, and the amount of water each bait pushes supersedes rattle/no rattle. Just my .02 cents.

I'm about 50/50...Dark water I usaully begin with non-rattles....these fish have very well developed lat. lines and can sense the vibrations of a bait w/o ratttles...that have to in order to locate food by feel...using rattles in dark water is like screaming at a blind man....If that's not producing, then I'll switch to Jakes w/rattles in dark water

Opposite is true in clear water for me.
