Posts: 244 Location: Mallard Island Lake Vermilion MN | Thanks Wayne. I lov you too. Nice for this to be posted here on muskiefirst.com ...thanks for sharing with everyone intersted. Good to mention its on if only for the fact that some reading / posting might enjoy something different an seeing handsome me ....doing what I do. Enjoy life on my terms.... : ) Please don't take show title to seriously...except for razing me.....see sample by Wayne above....I have been getting a lot of that an it is all good. Show was not at first to be called this Legends deal...but I heard the other couple names were owened by someone else so this is more to their liking. Ta DA. Not about non stop muskie fish or lots of techniques or secrets....might not even have a fish in it? Simply a show about people who fish...are a bit.....as they say different from others doing same or simular thing or wanting to. Enjoy it an have a few laughs...I will as we have not seen finished show yet ... but working with these folks in past has proven to be a lot of fun an successful so it should be continue to be intresting an some fun. Might even be a few other muskie fish people in it you all know but then who knows? Bout it...off to wrastle the hounds.. Keep on Rocken. T.

Posts: 350 Location: WESTERN WI | Great Post! It gave me an idea for a "sticky" thread or post. One which can discuss recent Musky related TV Programs. This thread may also be useful for clueing everyone in to a upcoming show such as with a Musky emphasis such as this weeks Keyes Outdoors or Legends of Rod & Reel. Posts: 303 Location: WI | KidDerringer - I accidently found the show and was entertained....it was actually refreshing seeing people fish without the 'gotta get a 50", gotta get a 50" attitude. Just chucking baits and having fun........looked like fun. Good job...great show!

Posts: 380 Location: Michigan | Tom, What a great program... It was very different from what you typically see on TV as it relates to Muskie Fishing. You are a fine representative for our passion. Wouldn't surprise me if you lived to be 100 with your way of life... Well done!

Really a great show. It wasn't about promotion of products, or anything else. Just about fishing. Very refreshing. JS

Posts: 244 Location: Mallard Island Lake Vermilion MN | Wow! Thanks for the nice words.....I really did very little but go fishen an let them come on our island a bit. Always been handsome. I enjoyed it myself....lots of humor there...inside stuff as well. Best or fave part for me was our hounds on dock and Homer J. getting lens NOSE SLOPPY WET. To fun. Nice people, Mr. Schara is a great writer and story teller also. Tried to nail a couple big ones, found them for sure...no eaters.... Very crisp Cold mid October nights an mornings made things very intersting. Always fun showering outside on those mornings. Buuurrrrrrrrr ---- Shrinkage for sure.... Failed muskie fish wise in some peoples eyes I'm sure, but we can only take what fish give.....and show really aint about muskie fish as a whole. OK fine airing that as we gave it a good shot an had a blast. Lots of humor in our lives...happy to share some of it once and a while with the folks in the TV biz an you all at home. Fun stuff. Thanks. Tommy "StudBoy" Wehler Edited by KidDerringer 1/28/2008 2:57 PM

You live a life that most of us can only dream about! The show made me feel like we were along for the tour of your "digs" and also in your boat. Very well done. Mr Musky

Posts: 244 Location: Mallard Island Lake Vermilion MN | HI! Weagleboy C sent me this old post. WOW! Computers really do save everythin ya type! Blast from the past almost FIVE year ago. Legends show was fun to do an edit was a gas. I still have it ...maybe upload it to Youtube sometime for laughs. On a different note I wanted to post something those who know me already know but many don't keep in touch out side or this site...so here goes. December 8th around 12:30 PM our Barney Toonder passed. Leader of the Mallaed Island Marauders. He was our best good hound friend for 15 1/2 years. Many of you may have met Barney at one time an for sure got KISSED! He was a good boy....in the boat, on the island or our docks in my truck or here at home on musky acres. Everyone knows the Marauders. He taught Homer J, Moe & Bear all the tricks to kept us smiling an them all living very very well. In truth, he was a nut an one heck of a good hound. He will be missed but lived a great long life an enjoyed it all being the leader of the Mallard Island Marauders. Barney Tooner was our life friend an we miss him a bunch....Moe & Bear are just now getting back to normal hound duties an back to having simple fun lifes and also helping us find them a couple brothers come spring time. Fishing Hall of Fame writer Jerry Pabst is a long time guest in my big black boat an surprised Bonnie an I with this article in the snail mail this week he had published in Midwest Outdoors Mag. It you wish...you can view it along with tons of photos of Barney Toonder an the other boyz on our facebook.com pages under my real name or Muskytomguideservice? I think? Thought I might share it with you all for a smile here but ..well don't know how. DOH! . PLUS might as well add a lil FYI on me also. .....Monday of this week my Doc "G" gave me / us the results of TWO cancer sucks check ups and Dracula Blood draws I played along with last week. With a hand shake an BIG smile said I was doing great....looked great and STILL CANCER FREE four years out from surgery as PSA is still 0.10% undetectable! So still giving cancer the beat down an keeping it away...CANCER SUCKS! Numbers All good! Next tests in July an full check ups again in Jan. 2014. Oh I can't wait!!! : ) &^%$ A! Guiding a bit less full days but still having fun doing tons fo half or split days. totaly never give up times with the special few friends whom vist lake also....we have a blast and do GET IT ON muskie fish wise. Muskie fish love me.....they are never tardy to a spot an later we party hardy alot. RIBEYES anyone! : ) Life is good. Keep on rocken! Tommy
