For those that have used the Mantas a lot, which of the (3) 8" models do you like best and why?

I have had good luck on the super shallow and the regular one. There really isn't a difference between the two models, they both dive down about the same distance.

I've had the best luck with Regular size, regular weight. Super Shallows and Hang 10's, though I own a few of each, are IMHO too light. Regular ones don't sink that fast, and hang nicely, but are heavy enough to stay down while working quickly, as a search bait, or in short bursts. The additional weight lends to the action, I think. Typically I can run a regular above all but the shallowest weeds without going too fast and still allowing for some nice pauses.
I usually have a bright one, black one and crappie in regular rotation.

I pretty much throw the super shallow in the river. Since I really let it hang out there I like it to stay up a big and not get down and in the rocks. The regular weight one gets down too fast for my liking, but still fishable. These baits are phenomial current baits, its really amazing what you can make this bait do with some practice.
