Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | Wel , I already have near everything I need to catch 100 muskies in 2008. Ill be looking for interesting new custom lures that I have not tried before. I will be watching the poolside demos. I would like to get a Musky Snax swim bait. Maybe a Bikini glider. Kingfisher

Posts: 78 | I was just doing the same thing! I need some suzy suckers; 6,11,13,inches also would like to try 11 inch curly sue. Then there's the double cowgirls and Musky Mojo's Double X. Oh, I also want to try a Llungen Krusher. Probably pick up a couple show specials. Especially like the custom paint jobs. Hope someone takes Visa!! I'll need to save back some money for gas or I won't get home! If the wife finds out how much I spend I won't need to go home!!

Location: Illinois | I'm all about meeting Scott Kieper, and booking a trip with him for end of the season. I'm looking forward to Chad Cain's seminar, "Runnin' N Gunnin'", also Doug Johnson and Dick Pearson's "Identifying and Fishing Muskie Spots", and Joe Bucher's "Oddball Tricks for Coldfront Muskies". If I can restrain myself I won't buy any new baits, though I might buy a few unwanted baits at the swap(1st time) on Saturday. Lastly I'm going to look for one of those figga-majiggers that the pro's rave is the best release tool to have. Can't remember the name but I'll figure it out this weekend.

Posts: 294 Location: Bloomer, Wi | Looking to get couple weagles, new supermodels with the #13's, curlysues. But that will have to be at a different show, not going to chicago unless some one has an open seat and is going through the bloomer/eau claire area and wants the company. Hint, hint!

| i'm definitely planning on: - custom Hellhound from Kurt's - jointed Bigfoot Depthraider - 6" H2O Cranky Nitro - supply of Red October tubes and rigs - Mojo's Howie and Thumper - Stealth fluoro casting and trolling leaders - Lindner's Modern Musky dvd - a new big bucktail reel, undecided which one of course, then there's all the impulse buys while browsing the booths. being there for the whole weekend makes it hard to resist! | |||

Posts: 199 Location: Sandusky, OH | If I could come, I'd be in line for a Turmoil and any Trueglides, since we don't get those things at the Ohio show. Although with my luck, I'd be the first person in line to go home empty handed. Good luck and enjoy the show. Eric

Posts: 941 Location: Freedom, WI | Lambeau - I do not have a booth there (will have one at Rockford fishing show and Blaine Muskie Expo) so I do not think you will find a 6"Cranky Nitro. I will be wandering around on Sat. with a show and tell bag

Posts: 3165 | I have to say in the 10 yrs the musky boards have been in existence this is the 'quietest' show buzz Ive ever seen,,,nothing really making big headlines seems the frontrunner is the 13 blade baits personally Im heading first for the Muskie Mayhem dvd- "Big Blades=Big Fish",,intresting to see Hammernicks painfull masochist techniques on how he triggers the monsters on Mille

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Oh the insanity of more baits..... The thumper and I love the giant weagles by MOJO. The Howie looks like something I would like, probably need a few more XX's too. I may need a wabull or two...come to think of it Mojo's booth is out, can't stop there. Bigfoot Depth and Shallow Raiders. I will look at the new 13's but man, wow much can my shoulders take? The Pearson/Johnson seminar is a must, betcha there aren't many sales during that one. Cranky Spastic Nitros....any of them in the goody bag Roger? Edited by nwild 1/7/2008 3:20 PM

Posts: 38 Location: Port Washington, WI | I'm still not sure if I will make it to Chicago. Probably will have to wait til Milwaukee but I'm planning on picking up a couple of soft tail phantoms, a viper, maybe another XX or two or the new Howie. I'd also like a couple of the Mepp's sassy shad bucktails and couple Llungen lures, probably the Reefer and the In-Pulse. Trying not to buy too many baits this year but I think an 11" Curly Sue might make the cut as well.

Posts: 359 Location: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin | Lambeau - now you've got me confused talking about getting a JOINTED Bigfoot Depthraider. I thought the jointeds weren't going to be available until fall. Personally, I don't bother with a "shopping list" - that would be way too limiting...it might introduce an element of discipline and self-control resulting in my going home with cash in my pocket and/or room on my credit cards!! How crazy would THAT be?!?
