Ha Guys
WHAT A HUMBLING FISH
And what a tournament, 48 legal fish by 37 teams and they came from all over on all types of baits. dozens of smaller fish too FUTURE!!!!! Probably more trolling but close to 50-50
As extremely high air temps seem to put our fish into spawn last week, the fish was scattered everywhere.

Great job for all who caught fish.

My hats off to Crash, his years of fishing high spring waters left him the only local guide in the money or for that fact to catch a legal fish.
It was hard to swallow as stories of anglers catching, loosing and seeing fish overwhelmed me as I seemed to not be able to locate them.
For your future records ( NEXT YEARS OUTING )
POPLAR CATCH SPOTS with multiple fish
Scott's Creek appox 10 muskies Trolling and casting
Leatherwood
Buck Creek
FLATS ( shallow and deep---casting and trolling )
Main lake points
Big and Little CAVE
Zilpo Beach
School Bus
Adams Point
Stony Cove
Beaver Creek which generally leads the way in spring tournaments had very little if any fish caught.
POPLAR LURES
Little Ernies
Wileys
Swim Wiz
Belivers
DepthRaiders
Ernies
Reef Hawg
Mepps #5
Figure 8 Lures
NO TRAPS OR RATTLIN'SHAD
Also the Big Sledge moved several BIG FISH

Hope you guys put these tips to work on your next spring visit, as always I just want to see muskie hunters do well on the CAVE. Don't forget the Cabin Fever Challenge and PMTT next year on back to back weekends.
What a muskie factory we have here, try to visit us before your season or waters open, and even late in the year.

My hat goes off to the city of Morehead, Ky. for the hospitality that they showed us and the rest of the PMTT participants while down there. Tony, great cookout on Thursday, and was nice chatting with Crash while talking over a cup of coffee. This was my first trip down there and it won't be my last. You have a great fishery there! Thanks y'all....[:)]

I think a great time was had by all. Thanks to Tony Grant for his hospitality to myself and Steve Cady while we stayed at his place.

It is really fun to be able to sit and BS with such great musky fisherman in a tournament setting like this.

Looking forward to the Mad Chain.
