Hi
Would like to spend a minute to wish everyone here at muskiefirst a Happy New Year! And especially to those who made 07 a year to remember, TJ, Dave Jonesi, Norm Wild, Derek, Beav & Taylor and all the guys I met at the Rhinelander outing and ofcourse the Worrals, Steve, Sue and Keith.
My first musky wasnt big (in size), but it is right up there with all the 45"+ pikes I got here in Norway and to top of a great year(With new pb's on the fish I fish for), I became a dad 26th of December.
Hope you all get a nice '08 and may the fish be with you!!
And I hope to meet some of you again in 2008!

Michael

As I sit here at work this morning, I have to give thanks for another year of being able to fish and live as I please. To you who serve this Great Country "THANK-YOU" !!!!! I hope that everyone can continue to stay healthy, and get on the water as they wish, if you know someone who can't offer to them your services. Without them....???

HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL......

Yep, '07 had a few great moments to remember (and a couple of outstanding ones), now on to '08 and the opportunity to make another helping of memories. A few weeks of ice and my boys, my friends and I will be out again on Pineview (and Newton) chasing the tigers again. Maybe they'll cooperate, maybe they won't, but it's all good. Any day on this side of the dirt is a good one, right, SJ?

May '08 bring you a series of good fortunes, big fish and happy trails. And don't get so stuck on eying the destination, that you lose sight of the marvels occurring during the trip. Make sure you have some fun!
Michael - congrats on becoming a new Dad. That's a whole trip in and of itself!

S.

Happy New Years all. Not doing much tonight. Home with the kids and wife. That is all one needs for a good New Years IMO. Too many of them I don't remember! Good to remember a few. LOL

Happy New Years everyone! Congrats Michael!!! It's a treat to be able to watch them grow up.

I got to spend tonight with my two little ones drinking juice boxes and watching Elmo til Ellies heart was content. I may just have a beer now. The wife is working, the dog's sleeping. Man, I'm getting old. lol

Be safe and shoot for your goals no matter how big or small in the new year.

Congratulations Michael. Taylor and I enjoyed meeting, and getting to know you.
I always thought that I would want a boy if I had a child, but there is something about a father/daughter relationship that is magical. Enjoy every day, because they really do grow up too fast.
Happy New Year to you and the rest of your newly expanded family.
Beaver and Taylor
