What's everyones favorite bait for catching Musky/Pike through the ice? I have used small suckers and shiners myself. A friend of mine told me his secret weapon is bacon!!!

Because Musky fishing doesn't really happen here through the ice anymore, the season ends the 30th, I fish for northerns using 8-9" suckers, fluro carbon and circle hooks. Quick strikes using jumbo smelt is another way to go.
