| I am thinking about ordering a 700 te as a dedicated cow girl reel.Just wondering if any of you are using this reel for casting purposes and weather you like it or not.
Is it to heavy, balance etc. Also i am currently throwing 400 te,s and was wondering if any of you have tried upgrading to a trinidad 14 power handle and how that feels?
Cant decide weather i should bump up to the 700 or stick with the 400 with power handle.
The 400 te works great for me but like alot of tackle junkies i am always on the hunt for a better more efficient solution and i would like some first hand knowledge feedback. |

Location: Chicago | I got a 700 te to seasons ago for casting larger baits, it was a littlie awkward at first not using that size of reel. This year I find I use it for everything from showgirls to cowgirls to #13 blades. Now calcutta 400b's collect dust. Gonna get another one next year. Now using my smaller reel is awkard. Also use this reel for trolling. This past summer I was on a guided trip in MN with a well known local guide and he said I was the first person in his boat to use this reel. He got a 700 the following day. In my opinion this reel is worth every penny. |

| With so many guys using the 400te, I would of thought more would have moved up to this reel for the big baits, as an alternative to the Abu 7000's. I guess at nearly 400 hundred dollars a pop, maybe not. Kdawg |
