Location: Bemidji, MN | Nail Tails is proud to announce its first corporate buy out. I have aquired The Musky Chicken bucktails from Mark Anderson of Bemidji. I caught my first musky on this lure, so when it was offered to me, I jumped at the chance. Any of you guys that have been around Bemidji for awhile will probably recognize this little lure. I will continue to produce them as long as there is interest. Sales have been slow this year due to the double #10 craze, but pretty soon guys will be developing some serious reeling elbow! And trust me, big muskies will still eat small baits. I have some of the baits for sale in the buy/sell forum, and I am offering the remainder of my stock for this year at a reduced price. I will be also still offering my own Nail Tails, which had some big fish caught on them this year as well. The Musky Chickens use either a single #7, or double #6 heavy Guage .040 blade, and 2 single siwash hooks. The Nail Tail uses a single or double #8 colorado blade. The Chicken is weighted with a painted lead weight under the skirt, the Nail Tail is all brass. The Musky Chicken runs slightly Deeper than the Nail Tail. The two baits compliment eachother in your arsenal.

Location: Land of the Musky | Good for you J Nail!! Ever thought of making a double #10 but with the two single hooks as pictured above? Get that good vibration along with the proven double single hook arrangment. Do they make a double bladed Eagle tail at MH?
Good luck to you!

Location: Bemidji, MN | Booty, we all have our niche, I do make some big blade baits, but mostly for myself and friends. I like to make and fish some of the smaller baits. I actually prefer the treble hooks myself, But I am going to keep the chicken as is because people like it that way, and it compliments the Nail Tail nicely. |
