Posts: 32890 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Tracking a deer tomorrow at dawn with Keith, then sliding a few face cord of pine into the Tundra for the boiler in January. Stack the wood, hopefully hang up the deer. At 3 PM meeting Merckid to hit a local lake with a 10" Perka, a Wabull, and suckers. Saturday, on the water in the AM, in a tree PM, Sunday tree time....I LOVE THE LATE FALL!!!! What do you have going this weekend?

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | Fishing a local lake with suckers tomorrow after noon with my manager from cousin's. Still trying to get him his first ski' so send a little MOJO my way, he's never even really caught a fish that he's needed to go inside a gill plate to hold a fish, so I'd love to get him one! Saturday no fishing but catching up with old friends from HS! Sunday headed to Green Bay with tcbetka....will be my first time chasing muskies on the bay! Looks to be a great weekend!! Posts: 252 | We will be fishing a local lake that has been real good to us. Soaking sausage, throwing spinnerbaits, Gerry's Girls and whatever baits we find we can move them on. This lake is the only lake we have been on where we have had (2) six fish days over the last (3) years. Cooler temps and good weather could make for an exciting weekend. Good luck to all !! Posts: 94 | Heading up to Melton Hill Lake in TN where there is still enough water to launch a boat. MI chapter 52 is having a little tournament and I am fishing with someone who has only fished for muskies once before, so it should be fun. Chris

Posts: 1059 Location: Medford, WI | Not sure where I'm going yet, but I'm going somewhere. My regular fishing buddy is probably going to be in a tree stand and my brother might not be able to afford the drive from the Cities, so I might be going solo. One way or the other I'm going to be on the water the majority of the weekend. If anyone is looking for someone to tag along and fish with, let me know. Good luck to all, Jake

Posts: 2024 | I hate it when school gets in the way of fishing... I don't even know if I could properly cast a baitcaster it's been so long since I've hit the water. I'm hoping next weekend will allow me some time to get out. In the meantime, I will live vicariously through everyone else... so please post pics of your weekend's adventures!!!

Posts: 336 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | We just got in after a 22 hour drive from CO to OH. We will be heading to the Wisco-OSU game tomorrow around 7am to tailgate and who knows where the rest of our day will take us. Sunday will probably be spent recovering before I get out and hit the water with Mikie on Monday. Hopefully Ill be celebrating my first Ohio fish AND a victory for Bucky. Good luck this weekend fellas.

Posts: 40 | I'll speak up for my husband as his weekend destination brought him to the St. Lawrence. He has seen so many large fish lately through photos from clients ordering reproductions that he's got an itch now and needs to scratch it. He left Thursday morning at 4:00 a.m. and plans on being back late Sunday or early Monday. Report for today was one 43" FAT musky, 3 Northern and one fish so large that they couldn't get her up. A couple of tugs and she broke the line. At first Rick thought he was snagged. He handed the rod over to a buddy who yelled "That's no snag.....that's a friggin MONSTER!" Rick felt a couple of quick movements and then.....gone! He was bummed yet totally empowered to hit the area hard again tomorrow. As for me, I'm hanging with the kids......watching the studio......and being the official taxi service for all of the weekend plans my kids have organized. Shannon Lax

Posts: 341 | I tailed hooked a 40" at 4pm today and got it on video, it felt huge for the first run. I was solo so trying to net was comical, especially after the missed net job and mid rod grip final run. . I'll try and do a youtube thing.

Posts: 34 | My wife just told she had a list if I am just going to sit around in front of the computer, so I'm going to hook up the 1890 and head for a small local lake that worked for me last weekend. Hopefully I will have something to report.
