I was wondering if anybody can tell me why there are split rings on the eyelits of some of the bulldogs and not others and what they do? Also why there are 2 split rings on hooks. I have heard 2 change out the split rings on these baits is that cause they fail on hook up or something else? thanx guys

the split rings on dawgs, replace em with #7 bucher. and the splitring on the eye of the bait is to make it easier to hook it onto the leader.

Any bulldawg that still has the 2 split ring configuration....replace them as outlined above! Frankly, based on the feedback on this site and particularly in a thread from a few weeks ago, you might want to avoid the quality issues and go buy a Shack Attack bait i.e. Suzy Sucker.....
