Posts: 8781 | Because the people I encounter in my day to day life don't understand why someone would want to fish, let alone understanding why you'd fish for something you don't get to eat after you catch it. Messing with Slamr is fun too! Edited by esoxaddict 10/15/2007 3:42 PM

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Comraderie with other muskie crazies---that was my vote. Actually a choice should also be: To share info with others to help increase their sucess on the water. That would be my choice.

Posts: 1310 Location: Washington, PA | I come on here just to annoy you AJ. Have fun at the wine and cheese event. I would never, EVER, interfere with such a weekend. Edited by tomyv 10/15/2007 4:21 PM

Posts: 785 | COMRADERIE for sure, not many crazies to talk to where I live. I also suppose I am bored at work too though

Posts: 76 | If I could I would vote for the first five equally. Those five pretty much sum up the reason I visit this site.

Posts: 90 Location: ne53 | The general public just doesn't understand the addiction to the sport; the sacrafices, failures, and achievements of chasing a fish that can be such a bugger to catch at times. With only 50 to 200 people logged on at any given time, I'd have to say we are a select few who can comprehend eachothers quest.

Love to hear how everyone is doing, and wish everyone good luck catching more muskies and bigger muskies

See, I am doing my job by keeping the moderators on their toes. ROFLMAO @ T.S. Because, it is a place to come and have fun, learn and help others; most of the time anyway. Even if my posts with Merckid keep getting pulled. LOL If you know everything, then you might as well quit fishing.

Posts: 199 Location: Nebraska | My real reason wasn't there so I picked the closest. Living in Nebraska, I don't get to fish for muskies often. It gets me through the dry spells in between trips.

Posts: 331 Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin | Some interesting discussions on here and it seems that users show more respect for one another on this site. Other sites can seem a bit childish at times with some egos getting in the way of good discussion. I feel that my posts on this site are respected. Other sites I find myself getting half way through typing a reply or post, then I stop and wonder who it might offend so I delete it and hold back from posting. Just seems like there is a mutual respect between musky fishermen on this site and that leads to good information for all. Ed

Posts: 284 | I am sorry my number one and two are not up there. I come to Musky first to see what creative minds can come up with next. Musky baits made by musky fisherman. And second to get good deals on Musky tackle from people who no longer want/need it. Otherwise the ones you listed are all very good reasons as well.
