Posts: 2089 | Sean caught this fish last weekend and I think this is one of the prettiest muskies I've ever seen. She was 48.5 and ate a white 11" Curley Sue. The fish also had 2 tags which were really covered in algae, so we didn't take the time to check for #'s. Steve Attachments ---------------- LMM48[2].jpg (55KB - 86 downloads)

Posts: 2089 | Chris, Anytime man. It WILL happen, just keep chuckin'! I thought it was a tiger when I 1st saw it, but after it got closer, I was amazed.Like a 'Sconnie fish had a fling with a Leecher and ...viola! Spots on the cheeks and scattered all over the back. Way cool. Ma Nature sure has a way with things. Take the time to appreciate the "smaller " stuff. They don't have to be 50 to be special. Steve

Posts: 618 Location: Bloomington, MN | Hi Steve! I've got a couple quick Mille Lacs questions...my friend, Steve Scepaniak, put a couple big tigers in his boat about 6-7 years ago. Have you seen or heard of any lately, and do you know if they were natural hybrids or stocked? Steve S. hasn't seen one in many years. That fish your client caught is replica material. Have him enter it in the Lax contest.

Posts: 2089 | Nut, I wonder if it could actually happen though. I know a lot of odd couples that have spawned, so I guess anything is possible. Steve
