Ok, so now I'm addicted, gotta start making some marabou 'tails. So, for you guys that buy and make their own marabou baits what brand, from who, what qualities should I look for (plume length?), and tips for tying the material onto coils, etc.

Thanks!!!

First, get the highest quality maribou you can. You want to get at least 1oz strung, and be very picky about it. Stay away from stuff that has heavy stems, and full quills. Plume length isn't terribly important, as I see it. You can really control the length as you tie 'em in.
I use stuff from Wapsi, Yellowstone fly goods, and orvis. Hit your local flyshop, they'll have what you need.
