Crescent Lake in Oneida County is normally a very clear body of water. Today it was quite murky, more than yesterday. Water temps were low to mid 50's to start the day and low 60's by noon.
Its starting to turn.

Anybody know what that's called (during turnover) when a gin clear lake suddenly turns murky? In many ways it looks like algea bloom. Just curious what this is called since I always get my handed to me when it happens.
