anyone ever use this rod? thought it might be good for throwin mepp's aglias in the spring for muskies and mepp's and daredevils for pike. anyone have any other suggestions? i havent been able to find many musky baitcasting rods that are light enough to use with mepp's and daredevils.

I have two of um. They will work only take the weights off the handle if tossing light mepps or pike spoons. You picked a good choice for the money. All rod manufactures make good light action pike rods/ spring muskie tackle. Try looking at bass flippin' sticks. I use a falcon cara 7'10" telescopic and shimano clarus flippin stick for light musky/piketackle. The cara is $160, the clarus around $70. The cara is faster action than clarus. St. croix makes good light tackle musky style rods as well they tend to be stiffer than the bass rods mentioned though.
