Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | After my brief stint in Utah fishing for undersized tiger muskies, I have finally returned to the land of real muskies.....although apparently Sorno has some secret spots he hasnt showed me yet! Anyways, I took the new freshman pointer A-Roz out for some fishing and we had a great night, although A-Roz was still a bit hungover. We moved 8 fish in about 2 hours. All on A-Roz made bucktails. The fish I got swung at the bait once and missed it so I said to A-roz, "There a fish just swiped at my bait..." Then I could see it was still right on the bucktail, nose was right on the back of it so I'm goin nuts at the back of the boat "Here we go, here we go, here we go......" BAM she inhales it less than 10 feet from the boat! Then she starts going absolutely ape.....After great fight we got her in the net, my first Wisconsin fish since prior to opener when I got a little 28 incher fishing for eyes. I cant wait to get out again tomorrow morning! I now remember why I love musky fishing so much, I was shakin like a little leaf in a tornado when she ate!
