Location: Stevens Point, Wisconsin | I have been hearing some rumblings that the Wisconsin DNR may close some flowages this winter to ice fishing because of low water levels. Two that have been mentioned are the “chip” and the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Can anyone confirm or dispel this rumor?
Thanks,
Ed

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | Hey Ed!!!! I don't know if it's true or not but water levels are at historic lows up here. The Rainbow is down some 15 feet right now. There are alot of people fishing pockets out there right now where these fish are basically stranded, I have heard that the same is true for the Willow as well............... pretty sad............... anyone seen Lake Nokomis Lately??? Where the heck did it go??? |
