I am going to be planning a trip out to Madison in a few weeks. Where is the best place to launch to be next to the best musky water? With this no wake in effect I would hate to launch on waubesa and have to spend all day heading north at 2 mph.

Monona, Waubesa, and Wingra all have fishable populations of muskies.
they all have good launches as well.

Location: Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin
no matter where you launch, should be good fishing without the constant pleasure boater crowd ripping around. From the reports in the news, sound like a lot of them are headed to other waters this weekend that they can tear around on, like Lake Wisconsin. Lambeau looks like Lake Wisconsin is out this weekend for sure.
