Hey all,
All this talk about double #10's got me looking, and I like the looks of the Musky Safari double #10 they have at R&H- Anyone thrown it? I like the fact it has single hooks instead of treble.
Related question, must work for Eagle Tails, but I wonder how everyone's hookups are on single vs. treble - I like the single since I'll be fishing this mostly at night and should make for easiery release, of course if they don't hook up well, that's the easiest release of all, isn't it?

Very much so, i really like the single hooks for the weedless part of it, but also makes for easier release, especially at night.

I ahvent tried the muskysafari double 10 but it does look remarkable.

I have heard that regular bucktail hair doesnt flair and pulsate very much with the double 10's compared to flashabou and marabou.

Yeah, the Musky Safari baits have Maribou, should pulsate pretty nicely with those big thumpers. I'm guessing that hookups with the two single hooks wouldn't be a problem since that's what Eagle Tails have and I know lots of folks who've done pretty well on those over the years.
