Hey all, I'm actually going to fish for muskies on purpose this week! Heading up to fish with Theedz. Maybe do Big Siss on Wednesday afternoon and evening, and then we jump in with Dorazio on Thursday. I can't wait to be abused, again! hehehe

I'll try to send a report Thursday night.

Shep, good luck. Spent some time with Dave this past weekend. If your experience is like mine...you can expect the abuse to be right there. Don't let him take you bass fishing. He did it to me and I was duped. I also did not realize his rates have jumped to $1500 per hour. That explains the hummer in his driveway and my second mortgage. HA! I think a dollar per inch based on the height of the guide would be more like it. Be sure to bring him Jack Link's peppered jerky. He really loves that stuff.

He's still short! Didn't get to fish Wednesday evening. Theedz was off the lake, and tired by the time I got there at 4:00 PM! We went out early Thursday for some eye action. And we had some action. Just not alot! hehe Pizza at Ray n Jay's, or whatever it's called, was good.

Met up with Dave around noon, and headed to the launch. Confidence was high, as I thought the weather was perfect. Well, if someone had told me we wouldn't raise a fish all day/night, I would have still went. As always, I have a lot of fun fishing with Dave and Theedz. Both of them together is even more fun. Didn't do squat, as the fish were nowhere to be seen. Fished hard, but nothing worked. Ah well, I've had days like that before. I'm sure I'll many more.

Friday morning, Theedz and I fished a small numbers lake, and I got a mid 30, and a barely 30. The first came on the 8. Been a couple years for that! One of my favorite ways to hook up!

Thanks, Theedz. Thanks, Dave! See you at the Tuffy GTG.

Had a great time too.

Saw two Wednesday before Shep got there. Batteries were not fully charged so I called it quits early to make sure they were good to go for Thursday. Shep met me around 4 and we ventured to Pastika's. Actually didn't spend any money. Fished 'eyes Thursday morning and Shep beat me 1-0. Met Dave around noon. He tried like heck to find the fish but nothing going. Ditto what Shep said. Based on the weather if you told me we wouldn't have seen a fish, I wouldn't have believed you. But, I would've gone anyway.

Dave put us on to a numbers lake for Friday morning. Shep caught 2 short ones, I had two miss a TopRaider (Hey DaveJ, I finally got my TopRaider back after....4 years. Go figure.) and we saw 3 others in about 4 hours. Shep actually had work to do and I had to get to Eau Claire. Left Hayward around 1.

In retrospect, I learned there's nothing worse to wake up to than Shep in his underwear. Well, except (and I'm only theorizing here) maybe Slamr in Shep's underwear!?

Thanks for the great time Shep and Dave.

"That explains the hummer in his driveway..."

Jono, what you and Dave do in his driveway is no business of ours. Don't ask, Don't tell.

Scott

Nice Theedz. I suppose you are a pal of Mr. Craig.
