I am thinking of buying this unit with internal GPS antenna and through hull transducer. If you have used it, what did you think?

I have used this unit a little this summer working at a local marina. We also rigged a ton of these units on the new boats and I don't recall any of them having problems.

Now for the through hull transducer, some boats take better to this kind of transducer than others. Meaning, some will work just fine and other boats they just don't work very well or even at all. Not sure if it has to do with the thickness of a boats hull or what but some boats work better than others when it comes to through hull transducers.

Thanks. My application is to a 14' fiberglass row trolling boat. I'll probably first try it with some silicone to make sure I get good reception before permanently mounting. Thanks
