Posts: 2754 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | lambeau - 7/25/2007 3:52 PM she ate a Red October tube. we had action/follows from a couple other fish on tubes, including one that ate but didn't get hooks. both fish that hit a tube were very subtle - like a walleye taking a jig: just a tap as they sucked it in. this fish crapped out crayfish shells all over my boat. i believe they're eating crayfish during the day when they have the opportunity - slow moving, easy to grab even for fish with otherwise neutral attitudes in the mid-day. Lambeau! Maybe she was inviting you to a "cajun crawdad boil". Very nice fish- congrat's Have fun! Al

Nope... but I feel good thinking that way. It's hard see follows with tears in your eyes. Why... do you know of one that was clubbed? Edited by Hammskie 8/17/2007 1:58 PM

Posts: 32955 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | He lives in Ontario, I think, so he'd have no idea. What possible difference does this make? If the event wasn't there, the cabins would have filled with OTHER muskie anglers anyway, that place is busy. The fish were treated right, and that's that.
