for those of you passing through, The Malmo hardware store has some fantastic close out deals on seasonal home decor,,specificly "wind chimes",,Seems the locals no longer are buying these has they can open their bedroom windows 24/7 and hear the "cling-clang' of cow girl blades comming from the North end...Have to tell you I was up there last weekend and I saw SOOOO many large pieces of schrap metal flying through the air directed at the sand I thought I was watching the beach assault scene in 'saving private ryan',,I cant remember when there was a situation where EVERYBODY had the same bait on boat after boat,,reminds me of the shad rap craze of the 80's,,,,Brad Hoppe MUST be a millionaire by now!!!,,,you owe it to yourself just to go see this

the same sale in going on up on LOTW. going to be some serious carpal tunnel and wrist injuries the next couple years. I didn't have what it takes to throw one all day, but I'm a reel palmer which I've been told puts me at a disadvantage. unfortunately the stupid fish like them regardless to what it does to my wrist. Back in my teenage single days I could have thrown one with ease, but I'm a bit out of practice these days.

Evidently all the seminars and articles on "dealing with todays pressured muskies by doing something different" fell on deaf ears!!,,inside/outside weedline night/day wind outta the east/west/south/north, new/full moon,,,just get in line and sling blade

Darn man, this weekend I was planning on going up there and throwing some double cow girls! I guess I'll have to try something no one up there would think of... like a mag dawg! LOL

Was up there the same time as Hooker. I thought everyone was wearing white gloves as that's required when you are a member of the bell choir. Clang Clang Clang goes the bell. It was hilarious. BUT if the baits work they work, I own a few, I used them, I caught nothing.

Hooker, I was able to call up to Malmo and have them email me a pic of the Malmo bell choir. They do a great rendition of Neil Young's "Cowgirl in the Sand".

Either way! We threw baits for 4 days this week on Mill Lacs, and every fish we saw, or caught was on the 10s none of wich were on cowgirls though.
