Just curious on what peoples thoughts are on Musky Innovations' Seducer?
And, how the Seducer compares to the Weagle and Jackpot?

What about the MuskyMania Doc? How do they match up too the weagle and jackpot? I dont like the seducer or the color patterns it comes in.

pa, the doc is also a nice lure. Though it doesn't ride quite as low, or maintain the 'swooshing' action of the weagle, there are times it outperforms other WTD lures as well. While I use a weagle alot and another weagle type lure(G- Log which is similar to a weagle but with a slightly larger head thus different 'woosh'), my friend Bill runs his doc in my boat alot, and there are certain times that he scores a big one on it, and makes me mad that I don't own one. Overall, I like the wood and the woosh of the weagle though. Getting back to the original, I like my jackpots on the smaller rivers moreso, as I can work them at a much quicker(quicker side to side) pace than the weagle, and pop them up and through the rapids easier. Also times that the subtlty of the jp type(again not a jp but a Rylure sidekick, which is very similar but through wire) worked slowly can be key for on big fish in cool water(springtime mostly), though again, the next guy might argue otherwise..... Time and place for all of em.

I have to agree with Musky Treats about the hardware on the Jackpot. I just lost a fish today on my Jackpot when the front eye broke. I've only had the bait about a month and thrown it maybe twice. No big fish either. I think there was a recent article in one of the mags about how to beef up the hardware. I'll definitely give the Weagle a try though.

I just got my 1st weagle from Rollie & Helens. Can't wait to give it a try. Quite a bit bigger than the Jackpot. Quality appears to be great also. I also have had issues with durability with a jackpot, never lost a nice fish though. Had a snake northern on & was lifting it in the boat, it thrashed & the rear hook eye tore out of the bait.
