Location: Appleton | I just spent 10 hrs trolling breaks on Pewaukee and with the cooler water temps I might think casting would be a good idea. I didn't spend any time casting and should have but went out intent on trolling. Plenty of others trolling and I didn't see anyone get a musky. I was just about done for the night when I got a small musky (26") in about 8 feet. I tried bagleys,slammers,small jakes, small grandma's, and depth raiders. I went from bright to natural with only fish coming on perch color depth raider...short line. Best of luck. Just a question do most who troll here use bagley bang o b's or bagley monster shads? Anyone care to offer a color in those baits? Also when trolling over 30' of water do you stagger baits as far as running depth or just run them higher? Thanks. |
