| Posts: 1287 Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | Well now, we'll need to wish our salmon slayers well in their quest and hope the well hasn't run dry. Have to quit before my eyes well up. | ||

CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MORNING...THEN SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. WAVES 3 TO 5 FEET SUBSIDING TO 1 FOOT OR LESS IN THE AFTERNOON. That's bad. | Location: Des Moines IA | Tell me about it Jeremy, I signed up to go fishin', not get publicly ridiculed on the board .. LOL, and to top it all off, he wakes me up at the crack of 11 am today, to tell me, "small craft advisory in effect for tomorrow morning , you available in the afternoon? He's got pounds of salmon in his freezer, yet he yearns for more ...............

| Posts: 2865 Location: Brookfield, WI | I'm going with Joel in the morning. I'll have the compressor blowing up my water wings (I need big water wings) tonight to wear in the boat if it gets too wavy. Safety first, I always say. I may wear a big diaper, too, as I do not like to relieve myself over the side in big rollers. Kevin "Faster. Slower. More to the Left. No, your other left, idiot." Boat driving instructions when I'm at the wheel while trolling. Edited by MuskyHopeful 7/13/2007 12:17 PM | ||

| Posts: 956 Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | You would almost think that this thread was created and evolved in the bitter cold of jan/feb. Some great writting/posting going on here for sure. Made me laugh all the way through. My season has has truly sucked all year due to work. Thanks for the laugh now back to work. | ||

It was a tad freaky when it was dark, but when the light came and we could see, game on! We ended up going 5 for 10 or 11 in about an hour and a half. (got the lines set around 4:30, got into some good fish and all but one were hooked or caught between 5:30 through 6:15. Then we had a storm blow up and had to run through some bad rain and biiiig waves. Fun way to start the morning. I even made it back BEFORE the wife and little princess woke up. Brownie points for me. Go get em tomorrow ye who fear the REAL big ponds wrath. bwahahahahaha. By the way, Muskyhopeful did wear the Giligan hat right before we got into them, and he only lost one fish this time. Our other partner was not as fortunate as he lost 4 of the fish.
