I was considering getting some Danczyk gliders and some mantas but I would like to hear about the action they have. Are they like a reef hawg where they have a more erratic action and can be worked down or are they more of a steady, rhythmic, side to side motion like a Cobbs crazy shad that stay at one depth unless you let them sink and work slowly??

Thanks, Mike.

I don't have a Danczyk glider, but I like my Manta. It has a more of rhythmic side to side motion with somewhat controlled depth. Great lure and eazzzy to use.

I have an 8" and 10" manta, and there's nothing eratic about them. Also have an SG8 floating glider by Danczyk that I haven't used much yet, but it doesn't appear to be erratic either. Definately not like a reef hawg.

Hi,
I have one GBC7 and it has a little more erratic action. Only thrown it a couple times as I just recently got it. Another great bait w/ erratic action is a jerko. It goes right, left, up, and down. It doesn't go very deep, usually top 3 feet or so. Mantas are easy to work and do catch fish but are not very arratic. I did throw one a couple days ago and on the 2nd cast, I had a 38"-40" coming up on it and then I think it saw the boat and took off.
