it will be my first time crossing the canadian border with a boat. Just wondering what to expect. Are there any rules with trail brakes etc..... thanks.

Just make sure everything is in working order & Registrations are up to date ( Which you should do anyway ).

A clean organized Boat with the compartments unlocked and orderly will help speed things along

We were asked at Baudette crossing to remove the boat cover and have our livewells inspected before leaving Canadia. Bore the guards with fishing stories and you may get thru quicker. m

Make sure you are aware of prohibited items (such as worms packed in dirt vs paper shavings).
