OK...The hot water here in Illinois is driving me crazy...So, I've been playing around in the basement...This is my most recent endeaver...Called the longhammer (named in honor of my good friend dunlap)...Can't wait to get it wet...It should go through the weeds nicely if the #10 colorado doesn't hang up on everything...

Wow that's nice Matt, love how you used the shrink tube. It would be cool to use different colors of shink tube just like you used the black.

Thanks guys...I just bought come colored shrink tube...It comes in alot of colors as well as glow in the dark...This should allow for some extra color for bucktails as well...

you're going to want to reverse the loop on the end of the wire arm. that upward loop is going to cause more problems than being looped underneath.

I have a question why you bent the blade eye up to the outside than down to the inside. Have you had any problems with weeds up on it this way?

It is a design flaw A couple of folks have set me straight...The"longhammer"is still under development Mostly, just a fun past time that may lead to some home made baits I can use myself.
