Not much on the north end yet either. Very little weeds. Spenta few hrs up there last friday and didnt see a fish. Fished the break and up shallow. Give it a couple weeks and they will be there. Did boat a nice fat 39 inch pike in Vineland Bay.

Smallies are moving shallow as well.

Did the lake level rise much with all the rain, or did it miss that part of Minnesota? I hear some of the accesses were hardly usable last Fall.

We got about .75" of rain on Friday and maybe another .10" over the past couple days.. The lake level probably remained consistant, but I do not think it rised at all... The lake it higher than it was last fall, but we need lots o rain to get it back up to where it was last spring.. I would say that most of the accesses are good to use other than the north shore accesses.. I think Malmo and Wealthwood are going to be pretty difficult, although I have not given it a try yet this year...
