where are you heading out fishing this weekend???

i'm finally able to get out and do some fishing tonight...it's been almost 2 weeks since the boat last got wet. free time is a bit harder to come by these days with the new baby at home! (although i'm happy to give it up)
anyway, i'm heading down to Madison tonight, haven't decided between Wauby or Monona yet...might even jump between them since we'll be fishing from afternoon until late night.

good luck wherever you are going.

Looking at Moens for tomorrow, and a little lake in Woodruff, too. Bass season opens up today!

getting the boat back today after some much needed re-alignment and installation of a new 4-bank charger, batteries, some cabling etc... and plan to catch a few night-bites over the weekend and also play some golf ... haven't decided where to fish yet, but also plan to run into a bunch of the knuckleheads heading north for the weekend too ... got word late last night and nellie's got a bite going and andy, jj, joey, bigmo and all the other kids are coming up to play so should be a good weekend ...

safe travels all ... and happy fishing

Three Lakes Chain. I don't know if I'll get up there in time to do anything tonight, but I'll be on Planting Ground as the sun comes up tomorrow.

Probably a combo of Pelican, Moens, Crescent and Three Lakes.

Steve, any report on the George ramp project. Is it open or getting closer?

Having a send off party for my youngest brother tonight and tomorrow night, he is heading to Iraq. But maybe Sunday hitting the pond for some eyes and then cast for some ski's during peak times, hopefully getting my bro to come along before he is shipped off to Mississippi for training on Monday.

Headed to vermillion bright and early tomorrw, wait, tomorrow is today already. Oh well, it looks like I will need a monster in the morning. Taking my sons, mom and grandfather. My oldest son took fishing as his 4H project, we built 3 spinnerbaits and took some good pictures for the 1st third of the project.

Laying low, and getting geared up for the OUTING! Bought some of the same stuff that Shep has on his boat, and installed tonight. I'm in a hurry to be a great fisherman like Shep, but just not in a hurry to look like him (kidding, lol You ROCK!).

Norm,

They didn't start the ramp project till June 5th on George due to locals wanting more time to get boats in the water. But last I heard, it won't be open until somewhere around the 4th of July.
