Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs
Hit about 4 area lakes from a few thousand acres to tiny pot holes. Best I can say is that a lot of fish were on the move, chasing mostly spinnerbaits in the weeds (bright colors got them going), but very few eating, and all fish on the small side (20-32").
We boated a little one, missed 2 (one on a bucktail, one on a weagle), fished mostly 1/2-3/4 of a cast off of the thickest weed lines we could find.

I'd add that the lakes we hit seemed to have fish on the edges except Moen. That lake, as usual, featured muskies in 2' and slop.
