What’s up with that! The poor bstrd. I just heard this about a fellow musky angler. I just wanted to give my condolences. The good part is I guess she accepted, “It takes 2 hours to launch the boat so we won’t be on the water until sunrise honey”. Happy hunting this weekend dudes!

Tsk tsk tsk....this couldn''t be one of those "need to get it off my chest what would others think now would it now?" Often times we will approach others w/ a similar circumstance that pertains to us but we put it in such a way as to make it look like the "other guy" has the problem! I know, I''ve been there my friend + it is a painful process but one that needs to be addressed w/ those who understand + have like interests.
Basically what I''m saying is that we are here for you NWR + that you can admit the poor fellow is you in the 3rd person. I understand your bitterness + feel your pain! All wives put unreasonable demands on their spouses that we are uncomfortable w/ but no longer do we have to endure the shame, agony + humiliation of admitting that we don''t have total domination of our wives! Forget what Martin Luther King said.."We shall overcome".... by Gumby from here on out it''s "We shall over run"! Now bust out of that cocoon + spread them tiny wings + fly away! Tell her that you WILL fish after dark + have her fetch you a soda... she will rebel at first but will come to realize your new found freedom from bondage + will eventually admire you for it! Feeling better already eh?
Sometimes a "tennis lesson" is necessary; start out w/ a "backhand" but only if she swings first! The idea is to win them w/ tough love. If in the event she was serious + leaves, let me know + I''ll think of something else to try as not all women will put up w/ sound reasoning! Now start singing " I''m goin'' fishing after dark, doo-da,doo-da" sung to the tune of Camp Town Races + see how it goes!
Now that you have captured the hearts + minds of all who frequent the board across this great nation + Canada we trust that you will keep us posted as to how things are progressing! We''re behind you, we''re backing you up! Just a little cheer to cheer you on. Latching on to some fresh Cayenne peppers tomorrow, let me know if you want some, they may help![:sun:]
*After seeing heart rending scenarios daily like the above I at this time volunteer to head a column "Ask Sponge"....though I''m not a licensed clinician I have been through enough w/ women to offer sound advice for those dominated by them! I was once tossed around like a chefs salad by women but have through experience + hard work become a dedicated lobbyist for what few rights us men folk have left. Remember don''t agonize, antagonize! If my wife sees this post I''ll be dead before sun up.....[:knockout:]
