I fish multi-species so I am trying to limit the tackleboxes I bring. I have kept my Muskie leaders in a Plano 3600/3700 box. I only have around 20 leaders in about a 12 inch length Is there something tubelike, I can keep my leaders in ? I am just trying save space and not to have all my compartments filled to the top. Thanks !

I store mine in the tube that comes with the delong giant witch works great and has nice black caps on both sides.

Zip-Lock bag! It will lay right on top of the bait compartment's & the box closes w/o damage to either!

Have fun!

I use the tubes that rod blanks come in and cut them down to about 12" and buy two end caps from Menards for a $.25 a piece. See pic.

Straight wires go in a 12" leangth of 1.5" PVC pipe with caps on both ends. The caps pop on and off by hand, but they're pretty tight and waterproof. Flouro leaders are looped and stored in ziplocks.

Ive done the tube thing for years and also employ a home-made roll pack Similar to a tool kit where you slide yout tools in and fold a flap over the top and then roll the whole ting up. I roll mine up and slide it into the tube along with a rust inhibbitor. My roll is made with food saver bags and some creative use of the machine to make the heat welded pockets. You can buy quality tube ends now a days at home depot. lowe's etc. Tubes can be found all over as well.

I normally wedge a few casting leaders under the steering cable where it exits the throttle box at the console, they stay put all year. Trolling leaders I wrap around a chunk of styrofaom pool noodle and toss into a storage locker.A few boxes have leaders hung inside etc, one's always handy somehwre.
