Due to good deal on the Tuffy and having a 2007 Etec on my older boat, Im thinking of buying the Tuffy and putting my 60 Hp Etec on this Tuffy. I know its very underpowered(60-135Hp rated), but Id just like to get by for a year or two before I upgrade. Want opinions and experiences.. My boat is Aluminum and weighs 850# (33mph Max speed), the Tuffy is 1200# fiberglass.

Thanks Rob

Are you looking at a console model? The tiller is max rated for 60HP.

Presumably you'd get high twenties - low thirties with it, like the console model?

Because of the weight distribution, low thirties.
