Can anyone tell me how to adjust this so the boat rides higher on the trailer? I am getting a wheel rub on the largest highway bumps and it sends a burst of smoke off on contact. Not good. It's a 2003 single axle trailer with a 618VS on it. Thanks

I think the only way would be to rotate the axle assy, perhaps with wedges. Perhaps take it to a frame and axle shop. To my knowledge, there aren't any adjustments on torsion axles.

John,

See my reply on MH board, just went through this with my 618 this year.

Yeah, it sounds like the problem is in the axle, not the spring. You can get the springs re-arched or another leaf added, possibly with the same result. I'd contact Ranger before I did anything. Don't want to void a possible warranty fix by taking it to the local axle & spring shop without checking with the mfg. first. m
