Posts: 63 Location: Indianapolis, IN | Chuck, I have fished the MMT on Cass Lake. I have nothing but great praise for Paul Hartmann and the way he runs his tournaments. If I were a MN resident, I would most certainly fish every event on the circuit! In order to facilitate the quick release of the fish, Paul has implemented the use of digital camera's and bump board's. You catch a fish, lay the fish on the baord with the correct color decal of the day, photo the fish, release, and call for a judge boat. Quick, simple, and most importantly, easier on the fish! Posts: 136 | Look at the results from last year on the Vermilion tourney or any of the other MMTT events. Pretty impressive.

Posts: 714 Location: Rhinelander, WI | You know Chuck, there was this little, very well run musky tourney in the Rhinelander area a couple of years ago. It would be nice to have something like that back. How about the “Mepps”- Pelican Lake October Musky Fest. The third week of October is a great time for a tourney, and since one of the major tourney trials pulled their event off of Pelican because of the 50” size limit it would be nice to bring the local business there an event, during a traditionally slow time of the year. Posts: 726 Location: Eau Claire, WI | Hi Chuck, in the past Mepps has been a great supporter of our chapter's tournament in september. This year's dates are Sept 14-15-16. http://firstwi.muskiesinc.org/tourney/Index.htm Always a great time. Last year, 314 contestants and 102 muskies caught. A one in three ratio is pretty good. Immediate release format. A lot of different lakes you can fish. No cash on the line just nice merchandise. Your entrance fee is reasonable and goes to helping our chapter help our local resource. We would love to have you there. Jon Olstadt VP First WI Chapter
