Location: Appleton, WI | Just wondering if anybody has tried these and if they are better than the regular ball bearing swivel. The spro have a much more streamlined design. |

| I haven't used them on leaders yet, but they make an awesome hook hanger post for some wood topwaters and jerkbaits with through wire construction. Steve |

Location: Madison, WI | I know Mike Phelps uses them, mostly. But I have the same problem as him, when i'm not paying attention i tend to reel the swivel in the first or second eyelet. Other than that, i've haven't had a problem with them. |

Location: Ogden, Ut | I gotta agree w/ BALDY on this one. I get more line twist with them than a 'conventional' ball bearing swivel. Also, I tried making a few fluoro leaders with them, but was uncomfortable with the knots - when I cinched them down, the edge of the swivel surface bearing on the line had me nervous. I dismantled them and re-tied w/ conventional swivels.

Location: Waukesha, WI | I do run the Spro heavy swivels, but I also run them with the Spro ball bearing swivel with coast lock on the business end. Probably why I haven't noticed a problem.

| I build my heavy leaders for my lift-off rigs with these swivels. It is a confidence thing to be able to lean back and bury the hooks. Have not tried them for casting purposes. |
