Posts: 66 Location: Onalaska, WI | Deciding what baits and how many boxes to lug along in the boat seems to be a constant delema, but spinner bait storage really seems to throw an extra monkey wrench into things for me. Right now I kind of squeeze the arm with the blades on it in towards the body and slide it in to a spot/tube in the box, but I'm not real crazy about bending the wire arms like that. How do you store your spinner baits? Just looking for some ideas. Thanks, Mertot

Posts: 127 Location: Brookfield | I have 3 of the large Flambo boxes, they have a division in the middle and spinners fit in nicely. I have a ton of bass spinners, these I put in a small plano box that are designed for spinner baits. They are not expensive and will hold musky size spinners. But then you are bringing more boxes in the boat. My flambo boxes are huge and I have spent the last couple of years tripping on them, this year I started hanging about 15 baits in a bucket. I know what lake I am fishing and have a good idea of what kind of lure I will be throwing so that is all I bring. It also keeps me from changing baits every 10 minutes.

Posts: 191 Location: WV | Take a dremmel tool or use table saw to deepen slit in dividers on plano hanging box, or similiar product, this allows spinner to sit down further so the lid will close and not hit the bend of the spinnerbait. Let me know if you need pics, jw

Posts: 376 Location: Lake Vermilion Tower, MN | A couple years ago I designed a softside spinnerbait pack for Muskie sized baits. It will fit in any storage compartment and it also floats, even when it has 25 baits in it. I have special low, low discount prices on them right now. You can check them out at my website, just click on Bailey pac. They are the best spinnerbait storage system anywhere and everybody that has them loves them. "Ace"

Posts: 785 | I love spinnerbaits and finally have came up with a reasonable solution. I take 4 pieces of clear plastic, use angle irons to form a "box" and then I use a router to make slots. Looks really cool and professional. Works good and is durable, all your baits are hanging free of one another. Ive made more for Bulldawg storage also. I'd post you a picture but in my wisdom I still haven't figured out to reduce file size so they will post. Oh-well, you get the idea.

Posts: 8788 | I use a "binder bag" I bought at BPS for like $18... It's basically a soft sided two ring binder, maybe 10" x 10" with heavy duty ziplock bags. Built for keeping soft plastics organized. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_1... You can fit one or two of the big spinnerbaits in each bag, and 5-6 smaller ones. Plus its got zippered compartments for trailers, and spare blades. Not sure how the bags will hold up to hooks but it works great so far. The nice thing is you can just flip through it and find what you want right away.

Posts: 169 | I too use the binder bag. I got mine at my local Scheels Sports. You can buy more zip bags to add to it when you need more storage.

I use the Bailey Pac that guideman designed. Works great. In addition to this, I also keep a few baits in my Dunwright tackle box which has special trays for spinnerbaits.
