Anyone been on Silver yet this year? I'm thinking about going out on Sunday morning and was wondering if they were moving and what the H2O temps are.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't been out since the day after the opener, but sounds like they are moving on bucktails and gliders. I'd venture a guess to say the water temps will be in the mid 60's by the weekend, if not higher.

We did pretty good on topwater up in the weeds but that was 2 weeks ago. I'd still chuck a weagle all day out there and expect to score.

I hope to get out sometime this weekend. If it's Saturday I'll look for you. I've got a white Tuffy Esox Magnum. Thanks and Good Luck.

Seems as of late, you need to get through the pike before you get your skies! lol
Gonna try to do a whole day Thursday out there 5/24.
Sunday we will be in a Cajun 175 , hope all is a go with weather.

See you guys out there.

Out last weekend and moved 3 fish in shallows to boat, and had one bite a glider by boat. 35 inch class fish. Seem active in 8 feet or less anytime of day! water is in mid 60's for temp. I'm going out tomorrow monday in grey/white Tuffy Rampage.

I have not been out on Silver Lake yet this year. I will start guiding clients in the next couple of weeks out there and will be out this week to do some scouting and will give a full report.
