Posts: 101 | Not too much info, but just wanted to brag that my oldest son, Brandon caught his first musky today. It was only his second "outing" so he's spoiled for life now. I thew a lure on, made 1 cast, and about 5 seconds later set the hook, then promptly passed the rod to him to fight the fish and reel it in. He did an excellant job, but had problems keeping the rod tip above the water. Fish measured out a little over 32", caught on an SS Shad, on Lake X in Sheb. Co. New boat.... $8000.00 New bait..... $22.99 Snacks....... $6.00 Launch fee.. $7.00 That smile on his face, and the everlasting memory of this moment...... PRICELESS!! ~Dawg Attachments ---------------- 1.jpg (196KB - 80 downloads) 2.jpg (105KB - 78 downloads)

Posts: 336 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Congrats to you and your son. The smile on his face definitely says it all. I really like that style of release shot ...caught just before they make one last swipe of the tail and kick off like a rocket.
