1. Magic Maker---can be worked slowly over emerging weeds, small in size, #1 fish mover for me in spring.

2. Musky Maverick---Flat out catch fish.

3. Old wooden topraider with great sound...landed 47"er on opening two years ago.

I'm just going to use one bait. It is a red stick bait with a single fuse. Twitch, twitch, pause. It has explosive action.

OR maybe depending on the water conditions, loud baits in stirred up water, headbanger for s&%ts and giggles if it's calmer, small hair and/or spinners. That doesn't work, test out all the new baits acquired during the off season since there will be suckers overboard too.

Smoked salmon, pork, chicken, and gonna git you suckers.

Dropbelly SLAMAR (perch)

Bruce, don't bother with the baby wabull or slammer drop belly. They don't work out there. You should take Mike's advice and go with the red twitch baits with the green fuse. You'll need some explosive action. I've seen how you fish. LOL

#1 Bucher Baby ShallowRaider - they catch EVERYTHING including BIG muskies!
#2 DeLONG Killer Eel - the big girls aren't afraid just because it's over 6" on opening day!
#3 Mepps Marabou - day in and day out, you just can't beat marabou!

Tight lines,

1) H/R 8"Speed Waker - because I just got it this winter and I'm dying to see this bad boy in action!
2) Maas Marauder - ditto
3) Beast Teaser spinnerbait - ditto

It's gonna be a miracle if I catch a fish - I'll be spending too much time changing baits just so I can check out the dozens of new acquisitions.

Sinse I have already been fishing for 2 months, I'll tell you what I had in the water today:
Suzy Sucker 6" Why? Because fish eat it.
My custom baby flashabou spinners Why? because they look cool and they work
Hawg Seekers Bass Snatcher Why? because I just got it last night. Score: 1 32" pike and 2 Muskies to the boat on it in 20 minutes.

What we normally do is buy two dozen or so suckers, put them in a meat ginder and make chum. Freeze the chum for a day or two until ur ready to go fishing. Then just like in the ocean, make a chum slick and just cast into it.
1. Bulldawg
2. Manta
3. true glide spinner bait
just kidding about the chum!
