The NEXT WR thread reminded me that I heard the commercial fishermen were looking to increase their limits on perch again. I heard they were reduced originally because the population was drastically low to begin with. Does anyone know what the scoop is now on this and how it may affect that body of water as a whole?

I doubt that Green Bay muskies have perch very high on their priority list. With the almost unimaginable amount of gizzard shad out there in the Bay and in the Fox River, they have a virtually unlimited supply of high protein forage available to them. This won't affect musky fishing one bit.
