It's as easy as going to http://www.mooreslures.com/ clicking on "Moores catalog in PDF Format" and marking the pieces you will need. Add up the price for each piece for one bucktail & you'll have your construction cost (not including your time). Multiply that by 1000 for bulk prices.

My big double #10 Colorado blade models are running $6-$10 depending on the quality of component you make them with. You can make them a lot cheaper but you will get what you put into them. I try to use brand name components and then beef them up and that will be a lot of the extra costs. The ones for my own box cost $10 and more...

0.51 is what most people use. Make sure you get a round needle nose pliers too, it will help out a lot! Yes, like grunt said my big double #10 run about $10.00. Make sure you look at small details as well...for instance rubber sleeve over the trailer hook to keep it level. You can buy the rubber sleeves from any hardware store (electrical department) for a fraction of the price of a lure component store.

Electrical shrink wrap for wires is dirt cheap at Ace or Home Depot, etc. (See my picture for the shrink wrap/tubing). I have been using the .63 wire. Much stiffer than the .51 but this might be overdoing it a little?
