Posts: 406 Location: Stones throw away...finally!! | Not sure if anyone has an extra or one that they just don't want anymore, but thought that I would ask. I know that I can get one from Ranger, but thought I would check here first. I think that they are all the same size, but incase they are not, I am looking for one that will fit an 02 620. Thanks for any help. Carpet color is dark grey although I would entertain others as I think the carpet would be easy enough to change.

Posts: 1456 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Hey---I made mine for my 619---it was easy---used 3/4 plywood---measured and cut the plywood----glued and stapled the carpet--then used a 2-3" piece of PVC inserted into a bracket for the center support. Works like a dream and cost all of $35!!! PM me with your email and I'll send you a picture. Edited by Cowboyhannah 3/30/2007 7:23 PM

Posts: 1456 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | I have had many requests for pix of the casting deck I built for my 619. Rather than email everyone seperately, I'm must posting the pix here. Yeah---It's not the Taj Mahal, but it sure as hell does work! Location: Northern Illinois | Sorry for raising a dead thread lol. But I'm in the process of building a rear casting deck for my 681vs. I was wondering what material you used on the outside edge of the main board itself?

Posts: 633 Location: Madison, WI | Just made this one for my 09 620. Used 5/8 marine plywood doubled up for the proper thickness then actually used a seat post from my 4th seat so it would support the center and actually lock the extension to the floor. Just bought the carpet from Menards so it’s not a perfect match, but the whole deal was less than $80. Posts: 1037 | Dan, that deck looks amazing! I bought a rear casting deck when I got my 619. Even by getting it through Ranger, the carpeting isn't a 100% match. Guessing that age/sun/rain fades the carpet a little. So, I'd say that mine, that I paid about $500 for is very, very similar to yours in color and design and yours cost a fraction. Great job! Wish I would have done that for my rig a couple years ago. Had I done that, I would have had enough left over to buy a Barfighter!

Posts: 633 Location: Madison, WI | Thanks! I was going to order a deck from Ranger, but I thought I would try and build myself first and if it turned out like garbage I wouldn’t be out much
