| theres a chance that i might be able to go on a lotw trip this fall in september or early october with my dad. So we were wondering what resort to stay at 3 days 4 nights in the fall for muskys. ive been looking around for some resorts a total of 60 pages serched and the two choises i would like are walshes bay store camp and crow rock lodge, Our trip would have to be guided 3 days and be open in the fall. what do you think?

| If you are interested in a guided trip, I may be available. As for me Jakes is the place to stay. I guide the NW Angle for muskies and I have deals on multiple day trips.

Location: Rhinelander, WI | I’ll have to put another plug for Walsh’s, great MUSKY camp. Frank knows these fish and spends a lot of time chasing them. Frank can take you out himself, and you will have a great time. Also think about contacting Doug Johnson I know he guides out of Frank’s camp and others I’m sure. It would be pretty cool to fish with a legend. It may already be two late to book a trip next year with Doug though.

Location: Bartlett IL | Gary is a great guy to fish with & the Angle is the place to be in the Fall.
I netted a 55-incher that my partner caught on a 10 inch Jake. That was the largest of an 18 fish week.
Also, staying in Minnesota is a plus especially at that time of the year. Weather can turn nasty and it eliminates traveling to an island with all your gear & food.

| Baystore is a great place. If you can, try to go late October instead of early. Might not be a better time to find a fall hawg.
