I have an alumacraft navigator that has a good size livewell. Unfortunately it has a metal door that slides up and down that separates the livewell into 2 different sections. Is there an easy way to remove this piece? It does not slide out.

HJ,

I have a 01' Alumacraft Magnum and know exactly what you are talking about. I was able to bend the thing enough to get it out. I would think you would be able to do the same, unless you have a newer boat and they changed the design. But it it's anything like mine, it takes a little muscle to do but not that hard. I am able to put it back when or if I need to. I turned my front livewell basically into dry storage.

You have to bend it to get it out. Pushing on it real hard with your foot will get it done. It isn't easy. Push right in the middle of the plate.

Thanks guys. I am getting that bad boy out of storage in one week and that is the first order of business.
